Administrative Offices

The Gator Engineering administration works behind the scenes to keep the college running smoothly. Administrative staff and faculty help with everything from bringing in new grants to advising students to maintaining our IT infrastructure.

  • Office of Research & Graduate Programs Research & Graduate Programs oversees all of the college's research issues, including grants, development of relationships with funding agencies, and technology licensing issues. This office also oversees college and department initiatives in graduate student recruitment and graduate programs.
  • Office of Academic Affairs Academic Affairs is responsible for matters of curriculum and program reviews. It also oversees faculty promotions and tenure, facilities allocations, and marketing and public relations efforts.
  • Division of Student Affairs Student Affairs coordinates undergraduate student support services, oversees undergraduate student recruitment, and plans commencement activities. The office also invests in multicultural and diversity programs and maintains student records.
  • Office of Finance & Personnel The Finance & Personnel Office provides oversight and coordination of the College’s financial and personnel operations. In addition to accounting, purchasing and payroll support to the Engineering Administration, the Contracts & Grants Accounting, Budget & Planning, Processing, Management Information Systems and Personnel & Payroll Sections provide centralized services to the departments and centers in the College.
  • Office of Development & Alumni Affairs Development & Alumni Affairs conducts extensive fundraising on behalf of Gator Engineering. It creates opportunities for alumni and other friends of the college to make lasting contributions, such as in the form of an endowed professorship, a named building, or a continued scholarship.
  • Office of Industry Programs Industry Programs is the college's liaison with the industry partners who support our research interests, mentor our students, serve on the Dean's Advisory Board, and assist our alumni in securing employment.
